4th Annual Pumpkin Festival

This will be the Fourth Annual Arvada Gardeners Pumpkin Festival, a replacement for our participation in past Festival of Scarecrows.   

This year’s event will take place on October 10th from 10am to 3pm at the Arvada Community Garden at 9195 W 57th Ave (57th and Garrison).   There will be FREE kids booth to spin the wheel and win a prize, a craft table for kids, hot cider and festive treats, free flower, vegetable and herb seed packets, festive orange bags, garden tours and more.   For a small donation there will be U-Pick Pumpkins, mini pumpkins, gourds, cornstalks, surprise plants, mums, dahlias and more.  There is plenty of free parking just across the street, local artists will have booths with festive items and don’t forget the Giant Squash and Giant Pumpkin contests at 2:30pm.  The public is encouraged to enter their Squash and Pumpkins:  ribbons and certificates for all, and prizes for 1st, 2nd and 3rd place.  Great photo opportunities.  More info at www.arvadagardeners.org

The U-Pick Pumpkin Patch will continue to operate during open hours (M & W 5pm to 7pm, weekends 8am to noon) until the end of the month or sold out.
