The Role of Art and Performance in Antiwar Activism

The Rocky Mountain Peace and Justice Center invites you to Naropa University for “The Role of Art and Performance in Antiwar Activism,” a film screening plus hands-on workshop. It runs from 5:00pm–8:00pm at 2130 Arapahoe Avenue, Boulder, CO 80302. The evening opens with a screening of *An Artist Responds to War*, a new documentary about the Bread and Puppets Theater. The film highlights how art and performance can fuel antiwar activism and social change. After the screening, participants shift from watching to making with an interactive art-and-activism training. Expect creative stations like screen printing, block printing, banner painting, and puppet making. It’s designed for community members, artists, students, and activists who want practical tools for expressing dissent.
