Fiske is especially meaningful to Michael and Jahna - it’s where they first began weaving their live mindful sound journeys together with their immersive film, uncovering a deeply visceral experience of sound, presence, light, and wonder.Now, they’re bringing it back to Boulder with even more.

A NEW INTERNATIONAL CHAPTER

The Journey is returning to Boulder at an exciting moment. Following its introduction at the International Planetarium Society Conference in Fukuoka, Japan, the film is beginning to make its way into the international planetarium community.

Michael and Jahna and team have also just signed an exciting international distribution deal with the film, opening a new chapter as The Journey begins traveling further into the world.

Before it does, they’re delighted to bring it back home to The Fiske - the very place where The Journey – Live! was born…and to the Colorado community they love.

ABOUT THE JOURNEY

The Journey: From Formlessness To Form is an award-winning 360° immersive cinematic experience created by Michael and Jahna Perricone and their creative team. At its heart is a simple yet profound invitation: to let the past be and become available to what is emerging.

The film brings together contemporary immersive filmmaking, spatial sound expertise and the resonance of ancient Himalayan singing bowls (300–600 years old), with original compositions, ethereal voice, guitar, flute, handpan, sacred gongs, and cinematic sound to create a truly transformative journey.

The result is a sensory world where sound becomes a vessel for transformation and stillness becomes cinematic.

MICHAEL & JAHNA

Michael and Jahna Perricone are visionary artists, composers, performers, and partners in life and sound. Together they create immersive experiences at the intersection of music, mindfulness, sound, art, technology, and human connection.

Jahna is a composer, singer, co-writer, vocal alchemist, UCLA-certified Mindfulness Facilitator through MARC and the Semel Institute, and Director of Mindfulness Programs at C3 (Center for Conscious Creatives). Her voice and mindful presence form an emotional center for The Journey: From Formlessness To Form.

Michael is a Master Ancient Himalayan Singing Bowl Artist, award-winning Sound Mixer & Supervisor, composer, multi-instrumentalist, and immersive spatial sound expert whose work spans film, television, music, museums, and immersive environments.

Their work has been experienced at venues and events including SXSW, The Getty, LACMA, MOCA, Walt Disney Concert Hall, Fort Myers Film Festival, DomeFestWest, Paris International Film Festival and planetariums across the country and internationally.

Together, Michael and Jahna’s Transformances™ bring ancient sound and modern technology together to create spaces for reflection, renewal, inspiration, and creative rebirth.
