Chromesthesia: A Concert of Colors in Music

This program explores the ways composers use music to evoke color, mood, and imagery. Featuring Lamont’s own Grant Larson performing John Williams' Escapades for alto saxophone and winds, the concert also brings the Lamont Wind Symphony together with Denver School of the Arts for a special joint performance. The program includes Frank Ticheli's Blue Shades and other works inspired by the spectrum of color.
