Learn the basics of knife skills as well as how to throw together a meal: Julienne, batonnet, slice, dice, chop and mince like the pro's do, or, at least have fun trying. This is for guests 18 and over.

In This Class, You Will Learn:

Knife Safety & Ergonomics: The proper way to hold, handle, and care for your knives.

The Foundational Cuts: We'll master the classic cuts used in kitchens worldwide:

Dicing (small, medium, large) for soups and hashes.

Julienne (fine matchsticks) for salads and garnishes.

Mincing garlic, shallots, and herbs for aromatic bases.

Chiffonade for turning leafy herbs and greens into elegant ribbons.

Efficiency & Speed: Tips and tricks to make your prep work faster and more consistent.

Utilizing the Whole Vegetable: Learn how to minimize waste and use every part of the plant, a cornerstone of farm-to-table cooking.
