About This Event
The HORRIDfying Film Fest returns for fest 7, and this time we're on a bad trip! To bring: cozy pajamas, butt pillows, blankies and/or a comfy seat (ie bean bag or camping chair) if you'd like. We have limited couch seats & plenty of folding chairs! Creepatorium bar will provide themed cocktails & snacks. No outside food or drink is allowed. Note: The HORRIDfying Film Fest is unrated, and films may include violence, nudity, language, and other NSFW experiences. Attend at your own discretion! Everything's LOUD. Hazel (Emily Jean Durchholz) is an intense agoraphobe who runs a true crime podcast about cases involving missing women. When her ill-planned staycation goes awry in the middle of a particularly rough drug trip that spawns nightmare fuel, she's forced to face her fears, confront her trauma, and take the not-so-metaphorical steps towards feeling alive again in this surreal horror-drama. Compression was awarded best feature at 2024's Days of the Dead Indianapolis and at the 2024 HorrorHound Film Festival, as well as 11 other wins, and will be coming soon to physical media. This is your chance to come out and see this film for the first time in Colorado / after it's festival run. In addition to the feature, on this first weeknight HFF we will also be presenting Trivia with prizes, door prizes, and a Q&A with the filmmakers. Since we are doing a shorter show this time (no short films, they will return at HFF 8), we have reduced the price for HFF 7. Online tickets are $10 for GA and $20 for a VIP ticket which gets you in first, coupons from Horrid & Horrifying Hot Sauce, goodies from our sponsors, and 3 raffle tickets (GA comes with 1) for door prizes! Tickets at the door will be $15 / $25 so save $5 by buying early. We also will have additional prize tickets for sale, as well as hand-screenprinted HFF t-shirts for $20. Doors open at 6pm, and the fest kicks off at 6:30pm. We hope you will join us on Thursday, 4/30, at Creepatorium for the first HORRIDfying Film Fest of 2026, and the first weeknight HFF! It's gonna be a trip!
