WEAVING WITH CLAY WORKSHOP June 13- 12:30pm-3:30pm Class + Materials Fee- $60 Age Range: 18+ 8 student range Location- Handbuilding room   Create a woven ceramic vessel in this handbuilding workshop. We’ll explore simple weaving patterns and how to construct clay forms that mimic fiber baskets. This class is perfect for anyone interested in ceramics or weaving. You’ll leave with a beautiful woven clay vessel.   Anna Valenti is an artist born in New York. Trained in ceramics, Valenti's practice brings together fiberclay, hemp, and lime. Her work builds upon weaving structures and gathering spaces to explore connectivity. Valenti holds an MFA in Studio Art from the Maine College of Art & Design and a BA in Psychology with a Post-Bacclaureate in Ceramics from the University of Colorado Boulder. She is an Assistant Professor of Fine Arts and the Fine Arts Coordinator at Rocky Mountain College of Art + Design. Valenti lives and maintains a studio practice in Longmont, Colorado.
