MAJOR BANKING CLIENT IS HIRING FOR A SPLUNK SOAR DEVELOPER!!! Job Title: Splunk SOAR Developer Location: Denver, CO ; Chicago, IL Work Arrangement: 3 day in office with 2 day WFH Client Industry: Banking Duration: 12 -18 months Contract Schedule: Monday to Friday About The Role DAY TO DAY: • Design, develop, and maintain custom automation playbooks within the Splunk SOAR platform • Own the full lifecycle of automation workflows requirements gathering, design, development, testing, deployment, and ongoing support • Integrate third-party security tools and APIs into the SOAR platform using REST and other API frameworks • Review API documentation and build secure integrations between external systems and SOAR • Develop and troubleshoot Python-based automation scripts • Work within Splunk Enterprise Security and SIEM environments to search, analyze, and forward data to SOAR • Optimize and debug existing playbooks to improve performance and reliability • Create detailed technical documentation for orchestration workflows and integrations • Collaborate with internal security and infrastructure teams to implement automation solutions • Follow enterprise change management processes during implementation MUST HAVES: • 2+ years of hands-on development experience with Splunk SOAR (formerly Splunk Phantom) • Strong Python development experience (must be able to speak to hands-on coding work) • Java development experience • Experience writing, testing, and troubleshooting SOAR playbooks • Hands-on experience with Splunk (searching, data analysis, passing data to SOAR) • Enterprise-level SIEM experience • Experience integrating third-party tools using REST APIs Compensation Hourly Rate: 70$-73$ per hour This range reflects base compensation and may vary based on location, market conditions, experience, and candidate qualifications.
