The power generation market continues to grow and evolve given strong capacity demand signals that haven’t existed for over a decade. As a result, our national Power Generation team is poised for monumental growth. We are seeking a qualified Senior Project Manager to help our clients develop, contract, and implement natural gas and potentially renewable energy generation projects while serving as Owner’s Engineer and/or Advisor. As a Senior Project Manager, you will be joining a highly capable, multi-discipline national team that supports power and energy projects within the industrial, IPP, developer, and utility power and energy industry. The Senior Project Manager will be a seller-doer who helps maintain client relationships, brings in projects, develops strategies and plans for performing the work, monitors and communicates status of the project, and leads multi-discipline project teams to successful completion of the work. This role requires significant client interaction (from pre-positioning for the work through project completion) and strong verbal and written communication skills as needed for regular interaction with internal staff such as project team members, marketing staff, and operations leadership. The ideal candidate will have significant experience with utility scale power generation systems including simple cycle and combined cycle plants. Responsibilities of the Senior Project Manager include: • Develop and maintain positive and proactive client relationships. • Achieve project schedule, quality, and profitability goals. • Serve as proposal champion/manager and assist with proposal preparation, review of contract terms and conditions, and evaluate risks associated with the services being offered. • Provide daily leadership to the project team and technical staff in completion of project activities. • Provide regular communication and coordination within the project team and with the client such that the project work plan and the client’s expectations on deliverables are understood and aligned. Monitor project deliverables for quality, completeness and conformance to the client’s expectations. • Proactively monitor and maintain the project budget and schedule. Develop appropriate recovery plans in the event of potential shortfalls. • Monitor the contracted scope of work and identify scope changes. • Provide training and mentoring to project team staff on project management and project consulting issues. • Guide design or consulting work in the manager’s area of engineering expertise. • Routinely report project progress to the local and regional accounting and operations team. • All other duties as assigned. Preferred Qualifications • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering; or combination of Degree and Relevant Project Experience. • Minimum 10 years of relevant power generation project experience. • Registered Professional Engineer • PMP Certification • Experience designing or managing simple cycle and combined cycle EPC projects as owner, owner’s engineer, OEM, or EPC contractor. • Have the ability to handle multiple concurrent projects. • Demonstrated business development skills. • Good communication, leadership, planning, and mentoring skills. • MS Office, Adobe, and other relevant software experience. , Required Qualifications • Bachelor's degree in related field • 10 years related experience • A minimum of 5 years of project management experience • Familiar with Microsoft Office, estimating and scheduling software, project management software • Must have the ability to interact with various design teams, have excellent organizational, project management and communication (both written and verbal) skills • An attitude and commitment to being an active participant of our employee-owned culture is a must What We Believe HDR is our company. Job Summary To gain exposure to all aspects of the Sales Representative position, contribute to efforts to grow clinical product programs in a designated territory. Assist sales partners in project management and lead efforts in executing clinical trials and product conversions. Job Description • Ensure project implementation and completion while gaining hands-on exposure to all aspects of the Sales Representative position. • Lead, prioritize, and manage the work flow of product trials, conversions, and/or PV implementations. • Ensure overall goals and objectives of the customer are met by managing expectations and aligning appropriate resources. • Establish and maintain customer relationships to include conducting weekly team meetings with the state of business with both the customer and the sales reps. • Monitor project progress; communicate project status to sales teams, product teams and customers. About the Work Unit This Communications Branch exists to provide a professional public safety communications service for the Colorado State Patrol, other partner agencies, and the public. The communications services includes researching and disseminating routine, emergency and criminal justice information, dispatching, and when required, providing 911 and emergency medical dispatch services. Police Communication Technician CSP Police Communications Technicians are non-sworn telecommunication specialists who provide dispatch services to law enforcement officers from multiple agencies. Communications Technician is a fully operational level position that provides public safety communications, and receives and disseminates emergency calls for service to federal, state, and local government public safety agencies. Police Communications Technicians operate highly complex computer systems and communications equipment that allow them to provide information and assistance to the citizens of Colorado and those visiting our state. The position monitors officer activity and safety by utilizing computer systems for entering and retrieving information related to calls for service, general information, and performing investigative inquiries. Through critical decision making, Police Communications Technicians provide information to field personnel enabling them to appropriately enforce actions and are often vital to officer safety. Key Responsibilities • Receive incoming telephone or alarm system calls regarding emergency and non-emergency police and fire service, emergency ambulance service, information and after hours calls for departments within a city. • Determine response requirements and relative priorities of situations, and dispatch units in accordance with established procedures. • Operate the Incident Command/Integrated Command Systems (ICS) in order to record details of calls, dispatches, and messages. • Relay information and messages to and from emergency sites, to law enforcement agencies, and to all other individuals or groups requiring notification. • Utilize Computer Aided Dispatch System, and contact emergency response field units to determine emergency units available for dispatch. • Receive and disseminate all requests for emergency services such as 911 calls, suicide, homicide, assaults, domestic disputes, drunk drivers, reports of road rage, motor vehicle accidents, motorists in need of assistance. • Operate designated camera systems, operate radio consoles, and computer terminals to receive, record, and transmit police and other emergency services communication. • Interview callers’ request for emergency services, comprehend, analyze and determine the appropriate level of response. Your main responsibility is hand selling, and we take that seriously. Our customers come to us because they want you—your taste, your enthusiasm, your curiosity, your ability to listen and recommend. We want you to joyfully share what you read, what you think, and what you love. Your voice matters. We will highlight your reading through shelf talkers, staff picks, and other features that showcase your perspective. We want customers to see—and trust—what you care about. We will regularly host events, and while you won’t plan them, we may ask you to help staff and support them. You’ll also help distribute coffee, wine, and snacks. Everything is simple to serve, and no food or beverage experience is required. There will be some shelving and minimal receiving tasks, but we want your time spent on what matters most: connecting with customers through books.
