DENVER METRO OPEN Position Highlights A quick look at this new ABC job… Located at: University and C-470 Schedule & Guaranteed Hours: Monday through Wednesday, 7 am to 5 pm, 30 hours a week is the most ideal schedule. They are open to adding on hours to Thursday to make the role 35 hours a week. They are happy to guarantee 30 to 35 hours a week. Flexibility with start and end times is appreciated, given parental work needs. Live-In / Live-Out: Live-out Commitment/Contract Length: This is a long-term position seeking 2+ years but open to starting with a year long commitment. Start Date: ASAP Family and Household Dynamics A peek behind the front door... Children's Ages: Care will be for one children who is 11 months old. About the Children: This sweet and active baby is entering an exciting stage of development—teething, eating solids, crawling, beginning to walk, and developing early communication skills. About the Family: Mom works from home, and Dad works outside of the home. About the Pets: There are no pets in the home. Additional Notes: The family hopes to expand in the future and would love a nanny who is confident caring for two children if that time comes. Long-term commitment is very important to them. Key Responsibilities A day in the life... Standard Duties: All standard nanny duties including working on milestones, fostering a learning environment, staying on schedule, meal prep, light tidying, organizing the child's room, baby laundry, and daily communication with parents. The family is fine with walks and playdates around the neighborhood. Once trust is established, they will be open to outings outside of the neighborhood. Travel Requirements: No travel is required for this position, but the family would love someone who is open to overnights if mom and dad go out of town. Desired Skills And Abilities The ideal candidate for this position will possess the following qualifications… A minimum of 5 years of professional experience working with infants and toddlers as a nanny or in a combined daycare setting. Experience working with more than one child as the family plans to expand. Willingness to grow with the family for many years. Knowledge of current infant development and safety Confidence supporting infant and toddler milestones Must have a further level of education outside of high school. A bachelor's degree is strongly preferred. The ideal candidate is active, promotes language development early on, communicates well, and seeks a multi-year position. All candidates must be 100% engaging and able to get down onthe floor and play. Compensation And Benefits Let’s talk dollars and cents… Rate of Pay (gross): Competitive and based on experience. The family is open to discussing market-aligned compensation for a highly experienced infant specialist Benefits and Perks Offered: The family is offering standard nanny benefits, 6- 8 days of paid time off (2 paid weeks), paid major holidays, and paid sick time.
